The label BV-LOCK® 30° identifies screws for plastics that featured a 30° thread angle and a reduced pitch, aimed at optimizing screws performance in different types of thermoplastics. These two characteristics on the one hand minimize radial expansion and stress in the boss, on the other they increase load-carrying capabilities – so these screws can be used in repeat assembling operations. Moreover, the specific geometry of the root allow an optimal flow in thermoplastics, minimizing installation torque.
